 If you just had a baby and you want nothing more than to return to your pre-baby weight, you should have a few post-pregnancy workouts in your arsenal that you can perform daily or every other day so that you can lose that weight as soon as possible. Luckily, there are many exercises out there that are not only effective in helping you lose the weight, but they're also fun and exciting. The following tactics will help you supercharge that workout routine to get you back into your pre-pregnancy clothing in no time.

The Reverse Curl: A woman who has just given birth to a baby will need to do some real work to get her abs back in shape and reverse curls can really help with that. For this particular exercise you need to lie down with your knees bent and look at the ceiling. Your feet need to be positioned just above your hips and and, keeping your arms on the floor, straight down from your shoulders and next to your torso, lift your hips off of the floor while drawing in your abs and breathing in and out. Slowly go back to your starting position and then repeat the exercise. Try to do twenty reps if you can manage it. If you can't, slowly work up to being able to do 20. Then go for 50, etc.

This exercise is great for your abs and will help you lose the pouch as well as helping you walk straight and with more confidence. Forearm Plank With Breathing: For this post-natal workout to lose weight, you'll get down on your hands and knees, making sure your wrists are directly under your shoulders. Then, slowly lower yourself until your forearms are resting flat on the ground in front of you. Your body and legs now need to make a straight line. Take a deep breath and slowly let it out as you squeeze your abs and hold the position. The next stage of this exercise is a pushup type movement. Do these steps three times. Doing this will strengthen your core while helping your posture and look better.

Lunges: lunges are exercises that will work all of your important leg muscles which makes them fantastic calorie burners. Not only do these lunges help you lose pounds, they build your muscles which helps you burn calories, even while you are resting. To begin a real lunge, put your hands on your hips, stand with your feet hip-width apart and draw in your abs. Move your left foot forward until your leg bands at a 90 degree angle. Keeping your right leg straight behind your body, lower yourself until your right knee almost touches your floor. Slowly stand back up and then switch legs with the next action. Do this five times on each side for a killer leg workout.
